About The Team


Fanatics Authentic provides the world’s largest selection of licensed sports memorabilia and collectibles! Our division is licensed by all the major professional sports leagues, player and team associations, and universities that supply 100% genuine product authentication to our fans. We offer once-in-a-lifetime “Fanatics Exclusive Athlete” event experiences providing fans the opportunity to interact with their favorite athletes at a Meet-and-Greet, Watch Party, Suite Experience, or Chalk Talk/ Q&A session. Our Game-Used partnerships have given us the ability to create the most exclusive products such as player and team gear directly from the arena or field, playing surfaces, and actual equipment.


The CRM Specialist is tasked with developing and supporting email initiatives across Owned Brand Sites. You will drive programs focusing on Micro-moment and Hot Market opportunities, retention and repeat purchase rates and other campaigns as tasked. You will leverage data to derive insights, identify opportunities, develop criteria and set up creative, content, contact, segmentation, expansion, and personalization strategies.


Duties And Responsibilities


The ideal candidate for the role has a passion for sports with a keen eye for marketing opportunities, specifically in the email space. This position requires a strategic thinker, yet creative mindset and strong attention to detail, ensuring strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation.


This qualified individual will assist with the owned brands in email opportunities across multiple sites. Must have previous email knowledge and understanding of testing principles and campaign execution.


THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CRM SPECIALIST ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • Creation of tickets for email campaigns
  • Craft compelling, relevant and timely email content and subject lines to effectively engage, inspire and drive awareness to our fans.
  • Develop email campaign audience criteria which include segmentation, cadence, sequencing and dynamic content targeting, through collaboration with the Director and or Manager, CRM
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of merchandise product groups to align with emails
  • Identify and execute on secondary promotional opportunities (micro-moments, trends,etc)
  • Partner with ecom manager on promotional calendar opportunities and incremental and segmented sends
  • QA of onsite elements that are specifically tied to email
  • QA and execution for Owned Brand website emails during hot market events including non-business hours and weekends
  • Work with brand team on email deployment strategies for players, product lines, etc
  • Partner with DTC team on promotions and synergies through email
  • Ensure daily execution of email campaigns are deployed accurately and on-time.
  • Produce various weekly or monthly reports that analyze and report on email marketing performance and effectiveness. Draws conclusions and develops recommendations for improvement.
  • Other Ad-hoc requests as needed


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field)
  • Experience with Email tools, Exact Target a +
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively and analytically
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills
  • Exceptional work ethic, ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact and to work collaboratively internally as part of a team and/or across teams
  • Self-directed/self-starter capable of highly autonomous work.
  • Sports fanatic or above average understanding of sports industry.
  • Strong results-orientation and operates with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proactive and inquisitive thinking. Understands and monitors competitive landscape, provides insight and recommendations to drive the program business forward as best in class.
  • Fanatical when it comes to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth organization and will be able to effectively prioritize the most impactful and important work on your plate and deliver on time.
  • Excellent communicative skills to effectively communicate across all owned brands GM’s and partners
