Material+ is looking for a CRM Operations Specialist to join our CRM team. This person will play a key role in developing and coordinating data-driven CRM programs for our clients. An ability to work across strategy, social, intelligence, tech, creative, and account teams will be integral to ensuring success for our clients and the team.


This role will work closely with our clients and CRM team to manage the day-to-day operations of client efforts. This role will involve hands-on, client-facing, project management duties.


Core Functions:

  • Provide organizational and project management services for the CRM + Loyalty team
  • Communicate effectively with both internal (agency) and external (clients and vendors) to keep progress moving on email campaigns and special projects
  • Draft creative briefs to effectively translate client vision to our graphic design team
  • Set up workflows and segments in different and varied enterprise-level email service platforms
  • Task internal stakeholders in our project management platform (Wrike) and ensure deadlines are met
  • Partner with our Strategists and, together, communicate needs and next steps to clients in regularly scheduled calls
  • Provide additional support to our Strategists as needed to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Research and present findings on special projects for clients

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of hands-on email marketing specific project management experience
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in a major ESP (For example, Braze, SFMC, Iterable)
  • Ability to dive in and find answers to questions that may not yet be documented
  • Ability to efficiently handle a very busy schedule and quickly change priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Pristine attention to detail
  • Strong project/time management skills
  • Positive spirit and outgoing attitude
  • Experience with QSR brands is preferred, but not required
