We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and highly collaborative CRM Operations Manager to join our Customer Marketing team. In this role, you will own CRM martech, automated customer journey strategy, campaign execution, and reporting for both automated and ad hoc campaigns.


This will be a high-impact role that contributes directly to increasing engagement, reducing churn, and driving meaningful cross-sell and upsell opportunities. This role requires a passion for Greenlight’s mission as well as a deep understanding of our customers. You will be responsible for building campaigns for both parents and kids across email, push, in-app, and SMS. The right candidate will thrive in a highly entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment where people are driven, enthusiastic, creative, and not afraid to take risks.


Your day-to-day:

  • Work cross-functionally to develop thoughtful, innovative large scale campaigns that drive retention, long-term customer value and acquire new customers
  • Manage and deploy communications across all departments and complex segmentation of audiences
  • Partner with the Product and Eng teams to integrate new data for targeting and segmentation
  • Mentor and develop a CRM team to develop the right processes and plans around the various work streams
  • Build reports and deliver insights on campaigns to measure incremental impact and A/B test results of all campaigns
  • Define program KPIs, working with the team to manage performance and reporting, ultimately using the data and insights to refine the CRM plans


What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 4+ years of hands-on CRM/Lifecycle marketing experience
  • Experience in CRM and campaign management tools, and must have experience with Braze
  • Proven experience with complex customer data generated by Segment, and how to leverage that data for targeting and segmentation
  • Experience building, managing, and reporting on multi-channel customer journeys
  • Understanding of Mixpanel and experience building reports and dashboards for automated and ad hoc campaigns
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage, implement and analyze a wide range of initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and clearly set expectations with stakeholders
  • Creative, analytical and thoughtful thinker – open to testing new ideas and work towards validating results
  • Strong interest in using data to derive insights to build a strategy that ultimately solves a business problem
  • Preferred: Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Preferred: Familiarity with a B2C subscription based model business and/or an app based product
