Manages the execution of campaigns through email, mobile and all new customer-addressable communication channels
Accountabilities
CREATES EMAIL CAMPAIGN EXECUTION APPROACH
- Develops executional approach to deliver on marketing and Personalization strategies
- Partners with analytics, measurement and key third parties to develop test and control approaches and manage testing complexity
- Subject matter expert in campaign tools and technology, creates and implements best practices for use
LEADS EMAIL CAMPAIGN EXECUTION TEAM
- Develops and refines campaign processes, campaign templates and QA tools
- Ensures campaigns, and campaign processes, are executed accurately and follows the strategy and testing requirements
- Trains team on processes, inclusive of QA, technology/tools and data; ensures robust documentation
- Drives process innovation and improvements to increase speed to market, reduce manual intervention and ensure execution excellence
- Identifies opportunities to and leads automation of recurring campaigns
COLLABORATE WITH AND INFLUENCE KEY PARTNERS
- Understands data structure, metadata and data flow between systems, acts as a key collaborator to troubleshoot data issues related to campaign execution
- Partners with 3rd party execution technology providers, drives innovation roadmap with these partners, owns executional relationship
- Collaborates with segmentation & targeting and technology team to ensure data availability and segment creation delivers on strategy and executional approaches
- Leads user acceptance testing
- Influences technology partner evaluation and decisions
MANAGEMENT
- Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve goals in accordance with Company initiatives
- Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the team’s results
- Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications
- Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans
Required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Marketing or Similar
- 5+ years’ experience in Marketing tools and processes
- Experience with SQL
- Knowledge of campaign tools (e.g., IBM (Unica) Campaign, Aprimo Relationship Manager, Adobe Campaign, etc.)
- Experience working with email service providers (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, etc.)
- Knowledge of CRM tactics and performance metrics
- Knowledge of relational databases
Preferred
- Experience with SAS
- Experience with Unix
