This CRM & Email Marketing Manager is responsible for driving business revenue and growth by driving the evolution of MSC Cruises' CRM marketing and database efforts. The manager is responsible for the customer lifecycle via various direct marketing strategies, with a focus on email, to maximize revenue and create brand loyalty. The manager will also focus on expanding consumer and trade databases and deliver best-in-class direct marketing programs. The CRM & Email Marketing Manager will develop and manage end-to-end CRM marketing campaigns including concept development and content planning, audience segmentation and targeting, set-up, deployment, reporting and ongoing testing and optimization. The manager will work very closely with the CRM Marketing Director and cross functional teams both in the U.S. and in the Geneva corporate headquarters.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Manages CRM direct marketing efforts for prospects, past guests, and travel partners;
•Develops ongoing email content calendar and manage deployment of high volume, high frequency B2B and B2C email campaigns;
•Develops relevant triggers and automated series to achieve goals and objectives;
•Increases pre-cruise onboard revenue through compelling automated email campaigns;
•Designs, builds and executes testing roadmap;
•Develops and executes database growth strategies;
•Designs customer segmentation strategies and execution to deliver an outstanding personalized user experience;
•Ensures consistent, customer-centric, brand messaging throughout all touchpoints;
•Works with brand and creative teams to ensure campaign assets planned, briefed, and completed on time, supporting increasingly personalized marketing campaigns;
•Develops reporting and analysis of direct marketing performance campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred;
•5+ years marketing experience with minimum of 3 years CRM Marketing experience;
•Extensive email marketing experience managing high-volume campaigns in a fast-paced environment;
•Experience managing direct mail, SMS, and other database marketing channels;
•Familiarity with CRM technology including marketing automation platforms and CRM tools;
•Experience with Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email service providers and the ability to champion marketing automation, personalization and segmentation;
•Previous experience managing the creative aspects of direct marketing from briefings to approvals;
•Results oriented with strong attention to detail;
•Proficient with Excel and web analytics;
•Thorough understanding of CAN SPAM and email compliance rules;
•Comfortable working in a cross-functional, multi-national company;
•Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL is a plus
