The Associate Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for producing and maintaining HTML email templates, performing QA, and supporting the marketing operations process for Hyatt’s various email programs. The position requires close partnering with marketing, operations, and agency counterparts in recommending and following best practices and ensuring all emails are executed in a timely and error-free manner.


Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Produce and maintain high quality, responsive HTML email templates from design comps, using best-in-class HTML/CSS
  • Set up and test email templates with dynamic content
  • Ensure rendering consistency of emails in webmail and app-based email clients
  • Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues to ensure identical rendering across browsers and devices
  • Support the email marketing campaign production process and execute on the email marketing calendar
  • Comply with email best practices and guidelines and make recommendations as needed
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify needs and execute requests

  • 2 to 4 years of experience working in an enterprise-level marketing automation platform like Acoustic, Marketo, Eloqua, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience in coding HTML/CSS to build responsive mobile, tablet, desktop, and web client emails
  • Understanding of email design constraints in HTML/CSS, responsive layouts, and different email clients
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail, maintaining design integrity and brand standards during the designing and building process
  • Demonstrated knowledge of email and deliverability best practices
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to get up to speed fast, execute quickly, and remain flexible
  • Communicate proactively to confirm requirements, timelines, and status on work requests
  • Excellent writing, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills


  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or a similar field
