About The Team
The mission of our Consumer Retention Marketing team is to build lasting relationships with our customers as soon as they engage with DoorDash by providing them with a personalized, cross-channel experience that delights them and drives them to return to DoorDash to find the products, merchants, and deals that are relevant to them.
About The Role
In this role you will report into the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations. Your day-to-day will include coding, scripting, and QA on CRM communications that engage millions of customers. You’ll collaborate and work closely with various teams and stakeholders from BI analysts and designers, to CRM strategists. You will code responsive, clean and correctly rendering emails that are on brand for both DoorDash as well as Caviar.
In this role you will…
- Build out emails using HTML, CSS, VML
- All emails will be fully responsive and on brand
- Script using handlebars (Iterable) for personalization
- QA to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot when issues arise and provide post mortem reports
- Build on CRM process and technology improvements
- Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders regarding status updates, launch confirmations, ETAs, blockers, etc.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
