Chewy is looking for a customer-centric Associate Director, Email Marketing who will oversee the promotional email marketing program for Chewy’s most active and pet-obsessed customers to join our team based in Dania Beach, FL. This role will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and measurement of promotional email marketing campaigns that increase customer engagement and drive incremental sales. This role leads a team of email marketers who are passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Do:

• Implement an promotional email road map based on overall life-cycle marketing with a emphasis on email campaign to drive customer retention
• Lead a team of email marketing specialists and optimize the current operational process
• Drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including deliverability, open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue
• Evaluate customer segments and business opportunities to drive incremental revenue and customer engagement
• Lead and prioritize reporting requests and ongoing analyses for campaign performance, key insights, and strategic learnings
• Drive a costumer first approach to all email experiences
• Effectively partner across the organization: integrated marketing, engineering, product management, merchandising and supply chain

What You'll Need:

• A passion and track record for customer-centric marketing
• 8+ years of email and/or direct marketing experience; ecommerce preferred
• Bachelors degree, Masters a plus
• Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to support Chewy’s main business objectives
• Represent the email program and partner with all business units
• Experience with an enterprise level ESP and project management tools (JIRA) required
• Strong communication skills with ability to clearly articulate information that influences data-driven business decisions
• Experience leading a team of email marketers to drive operational excellence and deliver results
• Operates independently and efficiently to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and successfully, without sacrificing attention to detail
• Proven experience leading a campaign management function and outstanding attention to detail across multiple different business segments
• Be knowledgeable on email best practices, technologies, and trends
• Position may require travel
